私の仕事はインテリアデコレーターです。

日本の住宅や日本の暮らしに慣れていない外国の方にインテリアや生活をアドバイスします。

 My work is interior decorator.

 I will advise interiors and living to foreigners who are not 

 familiar with Japanese houses and lifestyle.

 

私は以前、夫の移転のためにシカゴに住んでいました。当時は様々な経験と悩みがありました。

それは私が家に住んだ直後に起こりました。

「もしここが日本なら、私は好きな家具やカーテンを買える店を知っているのに...」

「これが日本のキッチンなら、私はこんなお料理ができるのに…」

こうして私は、日々の生活の中でいくつかの問題を抱えていました。

それは私の悩みであり、どうしようかといつも考えていました。

  I lived in Chicago for the relocation of my husband before.  There were various experiences and troubles 

 at that time.  It happened shortly after I lived in the house.

  "If this is Japan, I know the shop where I can buy furniture and curtains I like ..."

  "In the case of a Japanese kitchen, I can cook like this"

   In this way I had some problems in my daily life. That was my trouble. I always thought what to do.

 

その時、私はシカゴに住む友人に尋ねました。 そして家のためにたくさんのお店を訪れました。

日本では少し英語しか話せませんでしたが、店を見つけて質問することができました。

理解できない時は通訳も頼みました。

  At that time, I asked a friend living in Chicago. I visited a lot of shops for my house. I could only speak     

  English a little in Japan, so I found a store and could ask a question. I also asked for an interpreter     

  when  I could not understand.

 

  以前の私のように別の国に暮らし不便を感じている人がいたら、役に立ちたいと思います。

   I would like to be useful if there are people who live in another country and feel inconvenient like me
